The limp noodle

My cousin Sam (in Canada) tells me of a trick called the 'limp noodle'. All it involves is rolling your head back when feeding has finished and they think you are asleep. I think the idea is then you do actually go into a deep sleep afterwards but i like to waken again.....just for fun!!

Bouncing chair...now that is a great invention

Recently I've taken to staying awake a little more than before and taking in my surroundings, much to Mummy and Daddy's delight. They have really interesting faces you know especially when you are only 2 weeks old.

Soother anyone?

When you just want to suck these are the best things.....or so Mummy tells me

Am I changing?

Mummy and Daddy thinks I am changing daily so they took a picture of me to show you all, although she took me off guard with this photo!!

Show me the money!!!

Whilst I was sleeping Mummy and Daddy popped out (leaving me with Nonnie and Papi) to register me. They tell me I can then start to bring some money into the family now, much to Daddy's relief.
So there is no turning back now. My full name is Emily Caroline Janaway. Isn't it pretty having a name after your Mummy?

Christmas Day

I've been told I'll enjoy this day as the years go by but for now I was content with being held whilst Mummy and Daddy ate their lunch.
I think Daddy enjoys his food as his plate was certainly full at the start....but looking at it now it seems he ate it all

3 Generations on the Agnew side

Mummy was pleased that her family was now over so we took the opportunity to take some photos again but this time on her side of the family...

Here I am with Nonnie and Mummy..

Then again with Nonnie and Papi...

And of course with my Mummy and Daddy......

Asleep as always but at this stage my cute smile is more about wind than actually any recognition

And then there was Papi

I had to wait a week to meet my Papi and when he arrived I was all sleepy so I had to wait until the next morning to really see him. Since then he has been keeping me amused when everyone else wants a sleep and I don't want to....

3 Generations on the Janaway side..and Uncle Simon too

I had a great time on Friday with the family. Granny Frances, Auntie Claire, Uncle Simon all came over to see me. They even brought over Sammy (Auntie Claire and Uncle Simon's dog) but again I was too busy sleeping to notice him!!

Presents from Nena (my Great Granny)

Wow. I have yet to meet Nena but I hear she is my Great Grandmother. I have to wait until I go back to Northern Ireland until I can see her but she sent me this gift some months back and now I have an opportunity to wear it.

Thanks Nena, although sorry about the face I'm pulling.

Not totally sure what is says but I have it on authority it has something to do with mummy!

A walk in the park

Mummy and Daddy decided to take me out and show me the local sites. I'm lucky to have a park beside our house so we took a stroll around there. Thankfully my cousin Tabitha has lent me her pram (thanks Tabitha) otherwise it could have been difficult to do when you can't walk yet. Hopefully they will sort me out my own soon.

As you can see there are horses and lamas around but unfortunately I fell asleep on this occassion.

How big am I??

My cousins Tabitha and Sam both have a big teddy they can measure themselves against over the weeks so thankfully when Granny Frances arrived with 'big doggy' I just had to do the same. Still haven't decided on a name for my doggy yet but I'll have a think about it between sleeps.
Sometimes though they just don't know when to stop taking a picture of the same thing...

So I was glad to rest with my rabbit instead

SuperDad

Mummy had told me how great my Daddy was going to be so I bought him this t-shirt.
Seems he thinks I can follow in his footsteps....now with just a bit more direction I'm sure I could fly out of here.

Sunday's child

Mummy told me that as I was born on a Sunday I should be bonny and blithe, and good and gay..
Does this face fit the bill or is Daddy just being silly?

The nursery is finally ready

Taken at a slightly odd angle due to the design of the room.....but we now have a completed nursery. Mamas and Papas eventually pulled through and delivered the cot.....now where is our little one?

9th December...EDD

So the expected due date for Baby J but no arrival. Simon and I couldn't really sit and relax all day so what did we do instead? Have a curry?...go for a walk?....eat some pineapple?.....no we put up the Christmas tree....that didn't work.
