We had great fun at Nonnie and Papi's house, visiting the horses, watching the diggers and playing with cousin Tabitha and Oscar Tom learnt some new tricks on the Bumbo

It was Emily's birthday and as Daddy had to go to work we opened just a few presents in the morning. Emily was delighted with her new clothes (thanks Louise)and xylophone (thanks Jess)

but then came the great event to 'Monkey business'. With 4 seperate slides and Mummy turning into the Piped Piper with 6 other kids following her around it was a fun time all around. I think Daddy liked this one the best

The candle blowing went well when we got home

and then more present opening.

Tom just sat on and watched the whole thing. I suspect he's taking notes for when it is his turn!!

Thanks everyone for the kind gifts. Emily loved them all....now for Christmas.

Daddy's celebration

It was time to meet up as a family and celebrate Daddy finally becoming a solicitor.
We had a cake that had fireworks on it. Thankfully Uncle Simon was on hand to keep Tom safe
and Emily was on hand to make sure the cake was safe. (it's a 'smartie pant' cake by the way!!)

Tom had a lovely cuddle with Simon's Uncle Graham whilst the preparations were underway

and of course Daddy opened a bottle of the bubbly stuff for everyone

Well done Daddy once again. Now no more studying PLEASE!!

Nurturing Emily

Since Tom has been on the scene Emily has started to develop her more nurturing side.
Baby is the flavour of the month and made use of her Mummies carry cot (that Nena made for me when she was a little girl) and also her Mummies pram. But as you can see she also start to feed her baby with the bottle that came with it. Cute

Whilst at home we got to visit friends and family.

It was Mummy and Daddy's 5th wedding anniversary on 16th July so we all went out to Blackberry farm to see the animals and have some fun.

We obviously enjoyed the bouncy castle all to ourselves

and seeing all the animals....this cat was my favourite

but I also got to feed lots also...

The first few weeks

Well the first few weeks have gone by and we have survived.

Emily is certainly her brothers biggest fan. She loves to hold him, kiss him and generally have her head close to his. Not sure if this was due to the Mars bar Tom arrived home with or the pram but either way they are getting on really well.

Father's Day

My last Father's Day just with me and although Daddy had to study for most of it we still got time together.

I got him a t-shirt and chocolate amongst other things..

and then Uncle Simon, Auntie Claire and Sammy popped in to see us. That was a real treat especially as I can now say Sammy. Infact it was the only word I would say the whole time they were here.

Well Nonnie came over to see me. I actually think she was here to help get Mummy a little more organised but we had such lovely weather that we spent most of our time outdoors.

We were lucky enough to go to Hove Park and enjoy the slides.

This was the first time I've been on the slides and although I couldn't do it on my own it was still great fun. In the end I did want to go down head first but I wasn't allowed to try that. Can't wait to go back soon!!

Family day out

Lucky for me my Granny, Auntie Claire and Uncle Simon came to visit us on our family holiday for the day.

We went to Corfe Castle which was very beautifuldon't I look impressed!!Had a walk along the Dorset coastline

We had our third family holiday together at the end of April. We went to Dorset for a week but on the way Mummy needed some help with the driving.

Actually we were waiting for the chain ferry from Sandbanks over to Shell Bay. It was a quick trip but enjoyable.

New childrens programmes

Mummy has found a new programme she is VERY keen for me to watch. It is called Sesame Tree and is a Northern Ireland production of Sesame Street.

They do speak with a very funny tongue referring to something called gutties for example which I know the Frazer/Armstrong/O'Caoimhs' family will never be using.

Anyway it is now set up on series record so I won't miss it when I'm at nursery......but this was my first reaction to the show. Check it out via You Tube Agnews.

Mummy and Daddy feel sorry for me having my birthday so close to Christmas so they bought me an Easter present (now I like the sound of that!!)

So I got a water/sand pit. It was so horrible the weather though on Friday I had to play indoors but I didn't mind.

Nonnie and Papi

It's been a while since they were here but I had a great time with my Nonnie and Papi.

We had a picnic in the garden........

I helped Daddy and Papi get the vegetable patch ready for seeding

Papi read me a few books...

Nonnie made sure the trike got used.....

and Papi got his hair brushed, although I could regret that in years to come.

First was my present from Father Christmas. He got me a trike.

Although I wasn't able to wait for the seat initially I loved it when all completed

My second present was from the Agnews in Mexico. My own little bit of space, my little house

It's great for peeping into at the minute but wait 'til I get my phone and laptop sorted out!!

Springbarn Farm

Hurrah. I've been hearing about these animals and sounds they make for some time now but a few weeks ago we went to my first farm.

So what did we see?
